Bathory Perfume Sample

— Perfume Sample —

“Bathory” perfume was inspired by a legendary "Bloody Countess" (Erzsébet Bathory) who lived in 1560-1614. It is said that she was taking baths of blood drained from young virgin girls, whom she tortured first, to preserve her beauty and youth. However, after so many centuries, we still don’t know if that was actually true or if she was only framed by the crown and the Church with the aim to take away her power and territories.

This perfume reflects Erzsébet's nature in the author's interpretation. As one of the most beautiful women of her time, Erzsébet charmed men by an unspoken beauty and a deep mind. That is the first impression of this perfume too: the top notes at first will take you to a blossoming Orange garden, with Bergamot and Clary Sage. Then, with time, the scent gets deeper, uncovering its dark-sweet heart notes of Rose and Ylang-Ylang. And, finally, the scent is taken over by woodsy and earthy Vetiver and Sandalwood.

“Bathory” perfume isn't as easy and simple as it might seem at first, hiding its dark secrets deep inside. 🥀

WEARING TIME of perfume, made of natural ingredients, is individual for every person. The body absorbs the oil that it needs the most, therefore, the bouquet will be different. This makes natural perfumes special because they will never sound the same for everybody. Some perfumes last longer, some shorter, but approximate wearing time is between 3-4 hours.

TIPS: the fragrance will last longer if you apply it on clean, slightly moisturized skin; also, can be applied on hair. Do not rub it, let the skin take in the oil the natural way.

Before applying oil-based perfumes on different parts of the body, please make a local test (preferably, on the wrist) to see if you have any allergy reactions. Since the perfume is based on essential oils, rarely they might cause slight irritation or redness on the skin. This is very individual, so please take care of testing it before wearing perfume longer time.
